Our Community

At Dan the Stickman we like to give back to our community and have dedicated our skills and products to numerous projects in the Peace River Region.

Our team has helped build community projects including the Genset house for Smoky Hemp Decortication and the Bridge for Kimiwan lake trails.

We donate firewood to our sledding hill for community events like Family Day, and for events throughout the winter months. We’ve sponsored individuals in team sports, and we discount our farmily kits for school fundraising events. We have opened up part of our property for a public dog park or games area.

Along with giving time and resources Dan the Stickman has donated to the community, Daniel believes the best way to create jobs and opportunities for families is to support community organizations, he volunteers and gives his time to the following community boards.

The Lodge at Kimiwan – In 2021 Dan and family saw a need in the community for local lodging and grocery/dining options. Visitors to the local medical centre and workers passing through had nowhere to stay eat and shop so they purchased and refurbished a local motel property that had closed years previous.

Opening a small grocery store with fresh food options and the basics needed by the community, it has become a bustling hub with a few tables where locals and visitors can sit and socialize in town.

We also support local artists and artisans selling and promoting their products in our store. https://kimiwanlodge.com
